Using a lens with a suitable focal length, the camera can be positioned at any place with a good line of sight to track the HOLOS sphere. This flexibility allows the camera to be integrated for example into short and long throw projectors as shown in this clip and also enables the system to work using the camera built into a presenters laptop or smart phone. See below a number of example setups indicating dimensions and 3d interactive zones. The long throw and laptop solution work with camera resolutions as low as 640x480 (VGA).
