In the schematics below the 3D tip position detection accuracy is predicted based on a baseline of 500 mm and the empirically measured pattern noise shown in the diagram on the technology page. Range and accuracy are shown for  camera resolutions 1.3 MP, 5 MP, 8.8 MP and 15 MP, a sphere diameter of 55 mm and optics with a 36° Angle of View. Click on diagrams to enlarge.
